Tony is the founder of Collegiate Capital Management. He is also an investment advisor of the firm and in that role manages portfolios for his personal clients. Tony works with others to help establish the firm’s approaches to the conduct of market and economic research, investment management approaches and the marketing of the firm’s services. In his role as CCO, Tony has ultimate responsibility for adherence to regulatory requirements of the SEC. Previous to entering the securities industry, Tony was a staff member at RTI International and an adjunct assistant professor at Duke and N.C. State Universities.
Grant is the Chief Investment Officer and Vice President of Collegiate Capital Management. He holds degrees in Accounting and Economics from North Carolina State University. Additionally, Grant has been recognized as an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) by the College for Financial Planning. He began his career in 1992 as a registered representative of Lincoln Financial Group, where his primary responsibility was working with faculty and staff at UNC-CH and NCSU. He joined Collegiate Capital Management in 1999.
Tony founded Collegiate Capital Management in 1994. As an Investment Advisor Representative, Tony manages portfolios for university professionals and other nationwide. A member of the Investment Committee, Tony works closely with colleagues to help establish the firm’s approaches to the conduct of market and economic research, investment management approaches, and the marketing of the firm’s services.
In his role as Chief Compliance Officer, Tony has ultimate responsibility for adherence to regulatory requirements of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and works with the firm’s Director of Compliance to implement the firm’s compliance program and promote a culture of compliance.
Previous to entering the financial industry, Tony worked at RTI International and served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke and NC State Universities.

Grant is the Chief Investment Officer and Vice President of Collegiate Capital Management and has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. As an Investment Advisor Representative, Grant manages the portfolios of university professionals nationwide. His background in both economics and accounting and extensive experience with university retirement plans make Grant an integral part of the firm.
Before joining Collegiate Capital Management, Grant began his career in 1992 as a Registered Representative of Lincoln Financial Group, where his primary responsibility was working with faculty and staff at UNC-Chapel Hill and NC State University.

Cory joined the firm in 2002. In addition to his role as an Investment Advisor Representative, where he manages investment portfolios for clients nationwide, Cory has created multiple analytical tools and software programs that are now critical components in managing the firm’s clients’ assets. These include a retirement projection program specific to university employees and a firm-wide dashboard using real-time data integration with client management software to improve portfolio evaluation. He has also played an important role in the development and refinement of Collegiate Capital Management’s unique client portal (CCMconnect®).
As a member of the firm’s investment committee, Cory continues to focus on and improve the firm’s methods for gathering information related to market trends, the tracking of investment performance, and in-depth analyses of assets to assist in managing clients’ accounts. He also serves a vital role in developing reports that help clients understand and evaluate our firm’s asset management approach.
Cory is a member of the firm’s board of directors, serving as corporate secretary.

Daniel has been with the firm since 2008, first serving as a marketing and investment analyst where he performed analyses of investment options, markets, and sectors to assist in the management of current firm assets.
After several years of refining his approach to investment management, Daniel transitioned into the role of investment advisor representative, serving university professionals nationwide. Daniel received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2012 to further expand his knowledge in other planning disciplines and offer a more comprehensive and integrated form of wealth management. As vice president of financial planning, his responsibilities also include the coordination of financial planning strategies for the firm.

Erin joined Collegiate Capital Management in 2006, where she serves as both the director of office operations and director of compliance. She provides oversight and assists with the development, implementation, evaluation, and enforcement of the firm’s compliance program to ensure compliance with industry rules and regulations and the company’s corporate standards of conduct. Erin collaborates with investment advisor representatives of the firm to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability, risk, and conflicts of interest and helps to develop action plans to enhance the compliance program and the culture of compliance within the firm. Erin is also on the firm’s board of directors, serving as its corporate treasurer.
Before joining the firm, Erin was a Senior Project Coordinator at Cato Research, Ltd., a clinical research organization located in Durham, North Carolina specializing in providing clinical and regulatory support to pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

Jennifer joined the firm in 2009. She drives the firm’s strategic vision and operational excellence to enhance growth, execute business plans, and deliver high-quality products and services to clients. As a member of the management team, she partners closely with the firm’s investment advisors to further improve performance and lead new business initiatives.
Jennifer’s role includes daily oversight of the firm’s operations, specifically tracking client transactions, managing both the firm’s client relationship manager and portfolio management database as well as the generating reports for client reviews.

After graduating college, Abraham began his professional career at Branch Banking & Trust (BB&T) before coming to Collegiate Capital Management in 2017. Abraham serves an integral role in assisting the firm’s team of investment advisors with trade execution, portfolio reallocations, cashiering requests, required minimum distributions, other investment analyses including mutual fund and ETF performance, and facilitates the allocated of fixed income.
Before joining Collegiate Capital Management, Abraham served at BB&T as the primary contact for new accounts and the cross-sell of other products and services to meet clients’ financial needs. He adhered to strict internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies while conducting account reconciliation and other client servicing requests, all of which served as a solid foundation for his work at Collegiate Capital Management.

Heather joined the firm in 2017. She works daily with the firm’s team of investment advisors on generating paperwork for various transactional and other service-related requests for new and established clients. Additionally, she processes requests and indexes all transactions in the firm’s electronic database and works with the various custodians of our clients’ accounts to ensure requests are carried out accurately and efficiently.

Hannah joined Collegiate Capital Management in 2018 to help lead the firm’s marketing efforts and increase client communications and transparency. Hannah has been instrumental in the development of the firm’s first eNewsletter, designed to increase awareness of the firm, provide industry updates, and risk management strategies.
Before joining the firm, Hannah worked with multiple nonprofit organizations at IMI Association Executives. At IMI, Hannah served as Executive Director of the North Carolina Electronic Security Association (NCESA) and was responsible for conference and board meeting planning, as well as coordinating continuing education events. She also held a multifaceted position with La Leche League International (LLLI), where she focused on continuing education events, database management, and membership communication.
